Product Care
Imitation jewellery has become part of vogue because it allows you to enjoy luxury at an affordable price.
However, the plating surface has a certain lifespan and requires proper care and maintenance to prolong its life.
Separate Box:
Putting jewellery in one bag can cause scratches on the delicate material. Such handling of jewellery can cause it to break. Small jewellery like earrings and chains may get tangled in each other and would create a mess. Keeping different bags/boxes for all your stuff will also make it easy to find and keep them scratch free.
You can use your jewellery whenever required. But while unused, please maintain it inside a plastic box or zip lock cover. Any moisture or sweat should be properly wiped off before storing.
Use air-tight boxes:
The air around us is what makes metal tarnish. We recommend using a ZIPLOC or any air-tight pouch/bag with the air squeezed out to prevent tarnishing.
You may have boxes which have velvet/silk material used in its interiors; gifted to you or when you purchased any jewelry. Please do not use these for storing imitation jewelry. The interiors are treated with chemicals. Prefer, Paper Boxes or Plastics Pouch/ bags.
Away from perfumes/ chemicals:
Perfumes and deodorants or body & hair sprays/ hair serums are not good for imitation jewelry. How well your jewelry may look with the plating doesn't matter. A single spray of these can instantly spoil the look and colour of the jewelry or shorten the colour life. Kindly avoid using these or other chemicals or cleaning agents directly on your jewelry.
In case of any dust or other residue, please wipe it using a non-sticky soft cotton cloth and then preserve it in an air-tight zip lock cover or plastic box.
No rough activities:
Do not Wash Dishes or do Laundry with your Jewelry on. Many Cleaning products that come in contact with your beautiful jewelry can take off the finish as the cleaning products contain harsh chemicals. Remove your Jewelry during all kinds of Rough activities.
Don't wear your jewelry in the pool or at the spa:
Chlorinated water can react with the metals found in Jewelry causing that beautiful jewelry to change color.
BASICALLY, keep your jewelry away form the following:
:- WATER.
:- DISHWASHING SOAP.
:- All Types Of LOTION(s).
:- PERFUME.
:- OTHER HARSH CHEMICAL(s).
:- Don't use any kind of jewelry cleaner.
